Providing hope and dignity through sight
Maintaining healthy vision is of paramount importance for overall well-being.
A major goal of Lions International as well as our local club is helping to improve eyesight in individuals not only of all ages, but most importantly in our young. Our club is involved in vision screening of children primarily 3 years through elementary school age primarily in the Lodi/Poynette area. Detection of vision issues at a young age can go a long way
in improving the quality of a life. This free service, using a state-of-the-art “vision camera”, is offered several times throughout the year in our surrounding area and schools. We also provide financial assistance for eyewear for needy individuals.
