A little about Andrea…

Elected as President of Lake Wisconsin Lions July 2023, Andrea works tirelessly to serve her community. We took the time to sit her down and ask her a few questions!

What caused you to join Lions?  I joined the Lions because when I was in high school in Freeport, IL, I received a scholarship from the Lions club.  I was an active member of the community but didn’t really know the mission of the Lions club.  I’ve always enjoyed giving back to the community, helping others, and working towards a greater cause.  When I moved to WI, I went to a Lions fundraiser and thoroughly enjoyed the conversations I had with the members.  Once I learned more about what the Lions do, I knew I had to join.

What do you enjoy / take away from the experience of serving others most?  I find happiness in helping others. 

As President, what would you like the website visitor to know? While the Lions club has several focus areas we support, we work together as a team to support one another as well.  I have found some great friends within the Lions club who are encouraging and supportive.  Being a part of the Lake Wisconsin Lions has pushed me to bring my best self to each meeting, event, and interaction.
